New owners, same old ‘lady’

It wasn’t that long ago that Duane Hagadone was making waves in the world of luxury yachting with his 205-foot Lady Lola and her shadow boat loaded with expensive water toys. Duane would anchor in exotic ports and tee off from the teak-laid swim platform while employees would jet out to retrieve his floating golf balls. But alas, he sold the Lady Lola, which now serves a much younger and far more famous couple: Shawn Corey Carter and Beyoncé Giselle Knowles, better known as rapper and record executive Jay-Z and his girlfriend Beyoncé, the R&B singer/songwriter/actress. The two have been photographed by paparazzi lounging on the deck of the Lady Lola in locales such as St. Tropez, France.
