Question: Who Would Be Good Craig Sub?
Dan of the County: I read the post the other day that somewhere in Boise Jim Risch was looking for a toga. So let’s say that did happen, I’d be curious to hear from all the R’s who you think might angle for the an open Lt.Gov spot? And then, who would have the best chance of being appointed? Maybe they’ll call Dr. Jack out of retirement?
Jane Q. Citizen: Not a chance Dan. Jack’s out of the hunt. It’s an interesting question. It would definately be an up and comer in the GOP whose future political aspirations would be enhanced by a term as Lt. Gov. Odds are that it would be someone currently serving in the Idaho legislature. Now the question would be who.
Question (which I’ll probably use for tomorrow’s HBO Poll Q): Who do you think would be a good choice to replace U.S Sen. Larry Craig if/when he announces his resignation?
