“There are some very interesting boats gathering on the boardwalk today,” e-mails Deaf In Downtown. “One (top) claims to have actually gone over 160 mph. Are the hydroplane races returning to town? A Resort employee told me that they had ‘a lot of requests for overnight moorage’ this weekend but grinned when I asked him if there was some kind of an organized superboat event. Four of them were moored by noon on Friday.”
