Bad headline…

Joe Barrentine

Steve Smith started the meeting today by mentioning the bad headline on the Idaho B1 Briefs. The headline originally read Bill revokes license of really bad hunters and was changed for obvious reasons in the other editions.

Alison Boggs mentioned that the Business section today was “intensely local.”

Carla Savalli and Dan Hansen both read the same sports story today and both seemed to like it.
“It’s kind of a tear jerker, “Savalli said.

There was a quick conversation about identifying Geiger Corrections Sgt. Kim Lytle as a correspondent for The Spokesman-Review in the Dogs get second chance in prison story. Lytle writes the feature creature in some of the Voices sections. Savalli said, “When in doubt be transparent.”

Looking ahead:
We are working on a piece about art in the city and we are keeping an eye on the cold weather.

Be well.
Joe
