The meeting started off today with Steve Smith talking about the morning’s Greater Spokane Valley Economic Outlook Conference breakfast which featured Gov. Chris Gregoire and the S-R’s own Shaun Higgins.

Gary pointed out that some of the larger newspapers across the country played the astronaut story on A1 while the Spokesman-Review played it inside.
“I’m glad we didn’t put it on A1,” Steve Smith said.
