Murrell finds happiness in Oregon

Former WSU women’s coach Sherri Murrell was named coach at Portland State on Sunday.

Murrell was the choice of PSU’s new Athletic Director Torre Chisolm, who came to the Vikings from UC Irvine. I met Chisolm in Omaha recently - he was there for the same reason I was: to watch the Anteaters play in the College World Series - and he will be a good fit for PSU.
