Pigeon Hole Parking stock: windfall or worthless?
Although this column looks mainly at development and business happenings, a reader posed an interesting question about Pigeon Hole Parking stock a while ago.
The reader had 20 shares of Pigeon Hole Parking stock and wanted to know its value.
Terry Howell of D.A. Davidson & Co. in Great Falls, Mont. looked through archives and found that the company, which held a patent to a mechanical elevator, has been defunct since 1976.
Stock trades date back to 1953, but stopped in the 1970s after Pigeon Hole Parking’s trade charter was cancelled due to failure to pay fees, Howell said.
