Tuesday talk

Jeff B

After a blustery morning locally, much discussion at today’s meeting centered on the A1 story by Tom Clouse about a great-grandmother charged as a drug dealer.

One comment at the table raised the question of whether this is a good use of prosecutorial resources and if a comparison to the case of Gonzaga’s Josh Heytvelt was relevant. Any thoughts?

Dave Trimmer’s ongoing story about the men’s basketball coaching situation at EWU continues to draw high reader interest. Look to Dave’s EWU blog for more comments about the situation and for regular updates.

Other stories which caught the interest of our editors, and worth exploring are: Doug Clark’s column on a pair of gun-toting North Idaho brothers; and John Craig’s update on the Otis Orchards neighborhood issues with a development proposed along the banks of the Spokane River.

Leading the way today: Web and newspaper coverage on the Paul Bauer memorial in Moscow.
