Hey, have you heard about this basketball tournament?

As Senior Editor Carla Savalli says, we had a trifecta on basketball news, with bball stories stripping the top of A1 , region and sports today. Design-wise, we wish the two A1 sports stories could have packaged somehow, but recognize it would have been impossible with our parallel desire to make the follow on the dead little girl the lead and centerpiece (i.e. the most dominant element on the page).

It was a good follow, by the way. Given the details available through court records, the reporters did a good job of conveying the horrific nature of the crime without making the story unreadable.
