Bloomsday would have been better?
Gary Graham commented that even though yesterday started out a little slow — news wise — today’s paper looked pretty good.
Jim Camden wondered why the headline on the Summer’s last day story used a different font. He said it was a bit jarring.
Gary mentioned that he thought the coverage and placement of the Solemn vigil marks four years of war story on B1 was about right.
Gary also said that Steve Smith had heard from the Chamber of Commerce about the weekend’s Gang package . Apparently they were not happy that it ran while people were in town for the NCAA tournament. Gary said that no matter when it ran the Chamber probably wouldn’t have been happy with it and logistically the next time it could have run might have been near Bloomsday.
Looking ahead:
We are looking into the annual Tundra swan migration and animal control issues in Spokane.
Be well.
Joe
