Just as some day college and NBA basketball styles are going to change, making today’s long-short look appear as funny as zoot suits , the way we use language goes out of date, too. Click out the following Web site , which is called – appropriately enough – the “i am bored” site.

The motto: “Here’s a list of sites for when you’re feeling bored. Updated constantly, so check back whenever you’re bored.”

The link was sent to me by my friend and colleague Tom Bowers , who spends an awful lot of time passing on these kinds of so-called “viral videos.” His interest was in the “unintentionally funny comic book panels.”

As you can see, fashions, language and attitudes tend to change over the years – though clearly sometimes not nearly enough.
