Bloomsday weekend
The highlight of the morning meeting today was a conversation about running
Spider-Man
on the front page two days in a row.
Jim Camden said he thought that was a bit much, Steve Smith said sometimes we need to reflect popular culture and Ken Paulman said he tries not to give free ad space to commercial concerns.
As Steve was out yesterday he made a point of complimenting Parker Howell’s
DVD maker may add jobs, but displace poor
. Smith said it was written about as evenly as could have been done.
Jim Allen chimed in saying that he was impressed with the way Howell managed the stress — writing the entire story after 6 p.m.
Looking ahead:
The Bloomsday trade show will probably get some ink and the V. Lane Rawlins is retiring from WSU so we’ll take a look at his time there.
Be well and good luck if you are running Sunday.
