Update: Jury Still Out In CASA Fraud Case

Jury deliberations continued in Coeur d’Alene this morning in the federal trial of Rhonda Richardson, former executive director of the 1st Judicial District’s Court Appointed Special Advocates. Richardson is charged with using the nonprofit organization’s debit card for personal purchases and then lying to an FBI agent during an August 2006 interview. The trial came to a close Wednesday afternoon after nearly 2½ days of testimony by more than a dozen witnesses.
