Reader: Hayden Construction All Goofed Up

Have you been out to downtown Hayden lately? I cannot believe (how screwed up the construction is). These poor downtown businesses, some on the verge of bankruptcy, that were looking forward to a friendly downtown environment, must be so dissapointed. They put street lights in the middle of the sidewalks. No wheel chair bound person or couple wanting to walk side by side can use the sidewalks. Some one else must have mentioned it to (them), so they placed a slab of cement in the grassy swallow area so you can walk around the light post. There is not one straight curbline anywhere and I constantly see the construction workers digging up up concrete and asphalt to do things over again. So far, it looks pretty ugly in Hayden! Can’t wait to see how they handle snow.
