JimF: Sali Shocked By Pork He Helped Lard

Here’s another trip through the looking glass with Bill Sali. The U.S. House member from Idaho’s 1st District wants his constituents to know he inserted half a million dollars for widening U.S. Highway 95 in a federal spending bill. But he also wants them to know he then voted against the bill, which passed without his help. Why did he vote no? Because the bill was laden with pork, Sali says.
