Cougars come through

Consdering the Cougars were coming off a dismal loss and the Huskies were coming off a big win.

Considering the Cougars allowed the Huskies to return the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown and went three-and-out on their first three possessions to fall behind 10-0.

Considering this game was in Husky Stadium with a loud crowd of 72,888 ready to bury them.

It’s hard to believe how well the Cougars played for the a majority of the final 47 minutes to beat the Huskies in an Apple Cup that ranks right up as one of the most exciting and entertaining as any of the first 99.
