Question: What Led You To Your Current Career?

Think back to a time before you went to college that contributed to choosing and doing well in your current career. I was asked to apply for my current job, because I have had experience as a college admissions officer, I have media experience, and working with kids. All my previous jobs before this one have contributed to having the experience to do well in my current position. But I guess the question is, what got me going in the original direction after college?/ Silver Valley Girl .
DFO: I began writing for the school newspaper in high school and continued to do so through college. I didn’t settle on a career as a journalist, however, until the summer after my sophomore year in college when I landed a part-time job with a daily newspaper circulation department through the week, which eventually included covering high school prep sports on Friday nights. By my junior year in college I had decided on journalism as a career.
