Traffic impact fees for developers around the corner

A committee has forwarded recommendations for traffic impact fees to the city council, reports Builder’s Overview, a magazine published by Spokane Home Builder’s Association.

Spokane would be divided into five service areas and impact fees would range from $689 to $3,204 per peak hour trip depending upon the service area, the magazine reported. Fees would be used for projects related to growth and would be collected at the time the building permit is issued.
