The story showed an off-duty side of the chief and was accompanied by a set of online audio clips .

MOJO (online) reporter Amy Cannata was complimented for her story about the safety of the amusement ride operator at the Spokane Interstate Fair . Several people at the table said it caused them to think twice about going on the attractions.

The Today section cover story by reporter JoNel Aleccia was praised for doing a good job on tackling an important women’s health subject being researched at the University of Idaho.
