Further evidence that Sen. Larry
Craig has become a ubiquitous laugh line — and because of that, his political days are likely numbered. On Sunday night’s Emmy Awards, Craig was the butt of not one, but two jokes. One was a pre-produced faux news documentary that introduced nominations for comedy writing. It showed a series of tapping feet under the stall doors in a public restroom, set to music. There was no mention of the Idaho senator at that point, but a few minutes later, Joely Fischer zinged Brad Garrett with a line that he couldn’t get on Craigs List “…well, maybe on Larry Craig’s list”/
