HBO Poll: Should UI/WSU Rivalry Continue

On Sunday, colleague John Blanchette made a good argument why the college football series between the University of Idaho and Washington State University should continue here . On Saturday, the Vandals made a better argument by playing fiercely against their PAC-10 rival before turnovers and penalties finally did them in, 45-28. Idaho scored the first touchdown and was tied at 21 before WSU pulled away. Late in the game, the score was still only 38-28. The game marked the final scheduled one in the series. Many would like to see the series continue. After all, it wasn’t that long ago that UI won two straight games in the series.
