A colorful float plane just pulled up on the sand of City Beach (at 10:15 a.m. today). The owner of the Super Cub flew from Thompson Falls this morning to pick up a package & visit his dad from Rathdrum. He grew up in Spokane and frequented the beach in his youth - to ‘see the beautiful girls!’” e-mails Don Sausser, along with his photo above.
