Movie criticism is all about words

Dan

While researching information of the film “4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days” – which opens Friday at the Magic Lantern – I noticed several of what IMDB.com calls “plot keywords.” I’ve listed them here:

Bleakness, Vomit, Pregnancy, Abortion, Cigarette Smoking, Romanian, Dog, Fetus, Rainy Night, Friendship, Towel, Militia, Bureaucracy, Student, Communist, Doctor, Dormitory, Female Rear Nudity, Roommate, Bathroom, Nudity, Romania, Friend, Garbage, Exam, Social Criticism, Shower, Female Frontal Nudity, Body Bag, 1980s, Sexual Abuse, Communism, Poverty, Rudeness, Winter, Hotel, Number In Title.

If you’re concerned about any of the issues raised by these words, consider yourself warned. I know that my wife will care only about that second one.
