Wild Card/Monday — 4/7/08

At church Sunday, I heard a California transplant exclaim in a loud voice: “Hey, why didn’t someone tell me that this place had 9 months of winter.” At which point, I informed him that we’d only had five months of winter to date. So we might be in for four more months. That didn’t perk him up any. My brother-in-law who hails from eastern Montana added: He’s not the only one sick of the weather.
