Wild Card/Sunday — 4/13/08

I did as advertised Saturday, HBOers — worked in the garden from morning until I had to break for our church spring banquet. I spent most of my time pruning rose bushes. But there were quite a few side projects as I worked my way around the garden. The sun. felt. so. dang. good. At one point, I took my shirt off to soak in even more rays and to officially declare the long winter of our discontent over. It. felt. so. dang. good. Today, I’ll have a paint brush in hand to attack outside trim that needs repainting. I’m not as excited about that as I would have been with another day gardening. But it has to be done.
