718 W. Riverside update

We reported in April that a new bar was headed for the former 24 Hour Fitness building on West Riverside Avenue. Turns out it’s called Gibliano Brothers Dueling Piano Bar & Music House, according to a recent Journal of Business article:

”Gibliano Brothers, which is expected to open by Oct. 1, will features jazz and blues bands in addition to dueling pianos, says Rick Collins, who will own the bar with business partner Jesse Oka and two other silent partners.” / Emily Proffitt , JoB

No word on other tenants for the building. Crews have been working on the interior for several weeks. A sales flyer shows the bar as a 3,300-square-foot space at the rear of the main floor. Check out the rendering at left.
