1. Why did you run for the U.S. Senate, knowing that Idaho Republicans were likely to dredge up the old issue of the office affair if they viewed you as a threat? Is it worth the personal stress?
Larry LaRocco: Idaho working families need a champion in Washington, D.C. And I want to represent working families and fight for their interests. If perhaps out of desperation politics anything could surface. This is 2008 and Idaho families need someone to represent them in Washington. Chris and I have looked forward. If others want to view the world in rear-view mirror that’s their choice.
