Hump Day Wild Card — 8/13/08

Meghann Cuniff called to say that it’s fairly word to have a front row seat at the Boise hearing, watching Joseph Duncan from 20 feet away, through a glass window. She said she expects the sentencing hearing to become even more stomach turning Thursday when the deputy who first arrived at the Groene-McKenzie murder scene is called to testify. According to Meghann, one of the most eery things from today was the statement that Duncan planned to abort his murder mission if the back door fo the Groene-McKenzie home had been locked.
