Hayden Rite Aid Robbed Monday Night …

Rite Aid/Prairie Avenue was robbed last night by a thin, dark-complected man who said he was armed and demanded various dosages of painkiller. According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect approached a pharmacy employee and made the demands about 8:42 p.m. Afterward, he was seen running toward Hayden Creek Plaza. The man is described as being about 5-foot-11, dark-complected and thin. He was wearing a grey-hooded Under Armour sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, dark pants and a black knit stocking cap. The KCSD press release said it isn’t known at this time if the robbery is connected to a series of Spokane area robberies of pharmacies, where Oxycontin and Hydrocodone were stolen.
