Update: Atheist Sign Located, Festivus Next?

The Associated Press is reporting that a man dropped the atheist sign off at Seattle radio station KMPS’s front desk around 10 a.m. The state police — who’ve made it very clear that this is theft — are apparently trying to recover the sign. Meanwhile, a growing list of groups and individuals have filed their own requests to put up a display in the state capitol, including Jim Buenzli of Olympia, who’s proposing erecting a 5-foot aluminum Festivus polewith accompanying sign: “Festivas (sic) for the Rest of Us”/ Rich Roesler , Eye On Olympia.
