WSU Columnist: Men Getting Pregnant
Even though Beatie was once a woman, steps are
being taken, even as you read this, that would allow men to actually become impregnated. Men must first take female hormones before their bodies can adequately change to allow for a baby. I hope these hormones are not too similar to the type women deal with naturally every month, otherwise there will be too many overly sensitive people walking around. After the hormone therapy, an embryo and placenta are implanted into the man’s abdominal cavity. The fetus grows and, when the time for delivery comes, doctors perform a Caesarean section to remove the baby and placenta from the abdominal cavity. The procedure is risky and not yet available to the public. Thank God. The first test subject, artist Lee Mingwei, has yet to give the birth, so the success rate is unknown/

Question: Would you want men to carry some of the pregnancies if a procedure for doing so became widely available?
