Zags can’t hold lead, fall to UConn

The Gonzaga Bulldogs had an 11-point lead near the midpoint of the second half. They led by four with 2 minutes left and three with 24 seconds remaining. But Connecticut’s A.J. Price hit an off balance 3-pointer with eight seconds left to tie it and the second-ranked Huskies went on to an 88-83 victory in overtime in the sixth annual Battle in Seattle.

Steven Gray led No. 8 GU (8-2) with 23 points. Price had 24 points and 10 assists for the Huskies (10-0).
