Wild Card — 12/24/08

I finally got all the kids in, from Denver and Portland. The Denver duo arrived uneventfully around 12:30. But the one from Portland almost got stuck on the runway when the last flight of the evening iced up. She was scheduled to get in around 10:15 p.m. She finally got in after 12:30 this morning. We got back around 2. Only saw one crash to the airport and back, although a coupla fools were cruising at 65 or better on icy roads where 50 mph was pushing it. Now, I plan to hunker down with the kids. Mebbe buy a coupla more gifts. And prepare for Christmas. Of course, I’ll leave this Wild Card for your amusement — and another waterfront photo from Councilwoman KerriT (of the Centennial Trail as it cuts through City Park) …
