Football fans today are like kids in a toy store

Let’s see. It’s Feb. 6. There are about two miles of snow on the ground. And yet it’s a big day for college football.

Heck, even the NFL is done (don’t give me the Pro Bowl, that’s more circus than football) by now. But because it’s letter-of-intent day, football fans from Florida to Seattle are as excited as an 8-year-old at Christmas. Read on for more on that and on college basketball.
