Wild Card/Monday — 2/11/08

My record for not falling on the ice and snow came to an end this morning — I think. It wasn’t a pratfall, where your legs slip out from under you and you bonk your head on something hard, like Family Phil did recently. I was expecting the back steps to be slick. So I proceeded with caution. Didn’t matter. I slid off them onto more slick stuff. Did a half turn. And slowly dropped to all fours in an adjacent snow bank. Barely got my knees wet. Bottom line?
