Chiefs fall in shootout

I’ve been up since 6 a.m. - which for me is ridiculous. I’m a night owl. But I’m in Tacoma covering the state wrestling and gymnastics championships, and just finished for the day.

I checked on the Spokane Chiefs, only to find they’ve lost another shootout - 3-2 at Everett - and fallen seven points behind Saturday’s opponent - the Tri-City Americans - in the U.S. Division race.
