My 2 Cents: Where Do We Go From Here?

I’ve been in one of those where-do-we-go-from- here mind-sets for the last several weeks. But I put off thinking about the direction of Huckleberries Online until after HBO Blogfest ‘08. HBO has always been an evolving blog. It began as an online means to support Dubya’s re-election bid in 2004 — misguided as that now seems — and has become a comfortable gathering place for a wide range of local cyberspace personalities. In between, we’ve had several major hiccups, including the exodus of the uberconservatives about a year ago and the enforcement of civility rules last fall. People have come and gone. And HBO continues. I constantly consider changes and tweaks. I’ve thought about dropping Huckleberries Best of the INorthwest again because it’s such a time killer. It steals my lunch hour. Is it something you want? Is there something I’m not featuring that you’d like to see here. Should I drop in a post or two per day about Spokane — for the readers from Ron Paul Country? Your input is always valued.
