Spokane Is Reading … Sherman Alexie

We no sooner finish one Spokane-area project when we get word of another. Spokane Is Reading, the jointly sponsored event that takes place in October, has already announced its 2008 read: Sherman Alexie’s novel “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.”

Alexie’s novel, of course, just won the young-adult category of the 2007 National Book Awards .
