Poet laureate parties on

Although I wasn’t able to make the scene, Tod Marshall told me that there were 600-plus people at Monday night’s Robert Hass poetry reading. And just to make sure that I believed him, he sent me a photo that his photographer wife, Amy Sinisterra , took of the event.

“Yup,” Marshall wrote, “there were more than at (Sherman) Alexie.” And Alexie’s reading was standing room only.
