Christie: Got My Start Pumping Gas

One of my first jobs was as a gas station attendant at the station on Hwy 53 in between Hauser and Rathdrum. I wonder if I ever pumped your gas or washed your windshield. I also had to fix tires. I hated that part. I never had pretty fingernails in those days. It was such a different time. I worked the late shift all by myself with no homes or businesses within miles of the station and never worried about being robbed or attacked/Sgt. Christie Wood .
