Ever read ‘Midnight’s Children’? Now’s the time
Salman Rushdie, who filled The Met when he attended Get Lit! a few years ago, has won an international literary prize . His 1981 novel “Midnight’s Children” was named the best of all the novels to win Britain’s prestigious Booker Prize, an award that dates back 40 years.
I bet even Rushdie appreciates “Smoke on the Water.”
