Spy books are Furst of their kind
I received an e-mail query this morning:
“I am sure there was an article in the Sunday paper about two months ago telling of an author who wrote fiction spy stories based on real events of World War II. I have been unable to find out his name and was given your e-mail address that perhaps you might know of his name. Thank you for any help you might give. – Wayne Rall
And here was my answer:
I’m not sure who the author is whom you mean. However, I know that
Alan Furst
has written several WWII-era spy novels, including “The Polish Officer,” “Night Soldiers,” “Dark Star” and “The World at Night,” all of which are excellent.
