Big surprise: ‘At the Movies’ opts for youth

Looks like they’ve found replacements for Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper for “At the Movies.”

For the record, Ebert is 66, Roeper 49. Their replacements are Ben Lyons (26) and Ben Mankiewicz (41).

Not that it matters who the new faces are. If you check out the results of the polling on the Chicago Sun-Times Web site, the voting is going overwhelmingly in favor of people NOT tuning into the new show.

I just checked and the results were 73 for, 483 against.
