‘Dark Knight’ exerts its authority

Just got word that among the films supposedly leaving Spokane’s AMC moviehouse on Friday are “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” and “Iron Man.” Looks as if “The Dark Knight” is cleaning the other action films’ clocks in more ways than one.

“Hancock,” though, is still hanging on. Has to be the draw of Will Smith. That or some movie fans really are buying the soap opera that director Peter Berg is calling the screenplay he shot.
