KCSD Revokes River Rat Rage Permit

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department has revoked the marine event permit issued for the “River Rat Rage 2008” event scheduled on Saturday on the grounds that the event has been publicly advertised in a manner exceeding the scope of the permit application, and in violation of Idaho law. Specifically, the event has been publicly advertised that a band will be performing, which was expressly precluded from occurring on water under the terms of the permit.
