ISP: Chilco Crash Claims Priest River Motorcyclist

At approximately 5:12 PM on Saturday, Ranald C. Jones, 20, and Robert A. Wunderlich, 20, both of Priest River, were riding motorcycles northbound on U.S. 95 and approaching the intersection with Estates Road. Robert C. Brown (48 years old) of Athol was stopped in his 1994 Dodge Caravan in the northbound lane, preparing to turn westbound onto Estates Road. Other northbound traffic blocked Brown’s van from the motorcyclist’s view until they were just south of the van. Jones and Wunderlich braked in an effort to avoid hitting Brown’s van, but both motorcyclists crashed.
