RE: Nampa board restricts sex books /Unequivocal Notion
IVA Executive Director Bryan Fischer and citizen activist Randy Jackson will speak at a press conference at 3 p.m. (today at) the library todiscuss the decision by the Nampa Library Board to remove the “The New Joy of Sex” and the “The Joy of Gay Sex” from general circulation. Fischer and Jackson will be joined by Brandi Swindell, the head of Generation Life, who assisted in the effort to remove these books from the library’s shelves. Jackson, who launched the original effort when a friend’s 15-year-old son found the gay porn book lying on a table where any child could stumble across it, said, “We are pleased with the Library Board’s decision yesterday to remove the books, ‘The New Joy of Sex’ and ‘The Joy of Gay Sex’ from general circulation”/ Idaho Values Alliance .
