Just when it gets interesting … ciao!

In the midst of all this great dialogue about the closed Magic Lantern (temporarily, they say), I’m taking off for three weeks and change. Too bad, because things were just starting to get interesting.

Even more interesting, certainly, than that celluloid waste of time, “Sex and the City,” which Barbara Williamson – Spokane Falls Community College instructor and this week’s “Movies 101” cohost – said made her want “to put a bullet in her head.”

She doesn’t get it either.

I’ll post occasional updates of my trip, which begins in Lake Como, Italy , proceeds to Florence and then on to Madrid and Barcelona, Spain.

Yes, I truly am spending my daughter’s inheritance. But a true third-wave feminist, she approves – right down to, I suspect, her Jimmy Choo shoes .
