Kudoslices, and flongs

So do we know the guy who appears on the 7 cover today? S-R photojournalist Rajah Bose was the one who took care of the cover shot, said features editor Ken Paulman. The goal was to illustrate the topic (sexual harassment) in a way that was not offensive. It worked, Paulman and others said, because the subject did not look threatening or creepy. What is a flong?

One of the popular questions yesterday was, hey isn’t ‘flong’ a form of the verb ‘fling’? Apparently it’s a floppy mat-like thing used to print old-old-school newspapers, although UrbanDictionary has an entry calling it a flesh-colored thong.
