Father’s Day Wild Card — 6/15/08

Both my kids told me Saturday that they had cards and/or gifts for me at their homes in Denver and Portland. Which, of course, means that I won’t receive them by today. But it doesn’t matter. They’ve already gifted me many times over by growing up to be very good young adults. The gifts, cards, phone calls are icing on the cake. Hug your father today, if you have one.
